Unknown persons attacked a Hindu temple in the US state of Ohio by hurling bricks, causing damage to parts of the premises, according to reports.
The incident occurred at the Sri Swaminarayan Temple in Richmond Heights, in the Greater Cleveland area. Devotees and priests were inside the temple when the attack took place.
Police have launched a search for the suspects and are using available video footage to identify them.
The Hindu American Foundation confirmed the attack and said it had shared video clips recorded during the incident on its X account. The organisation added that the footage is being reviewed by authorities and that the FBI and civil rights officials have been informed.
