Ukraine has said it is prepared to consider India’s proposal for a ceasefire as the war with Russia continues.
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that Kyiv has received four ceasefire proposals in total, coming from India, Turkey, Egypt and the United States.
According to Sybiha, India’s proposal is the most comprehensive and covers the widest range of issues among the options presented.
He added that Ukraine is ready for ceasefire arrangements related to energy and the Black Sea, and is willing to examine different formats of a possible ceasefire.
The remarks come amid ongoing fighting, even as efforts continue to explore solutions acceptable to both sides.
