Chennai Chief Minister Vijay visited the Perambur constituency MLA office and interacted directly with residents, hearing their grievances and receiving petitions in person.
Earlier in the day, he inaugurated a laboratory annex built at a cost of ₹2.23 crore at the Madhavaram milk dairy. The facility has modern equipment designed to enable accurate testing of milk and milk products.
The Chief Minister also sought details from officials on milk procurement and distribution. The review comes amid recent complaints of Aavin milk shortage, raising expectations that the inspection could help address packet availability.
At the Perambur office, he asked officials about rainwater stagnation in North Chennai and preparedness measures ahead of the monsoon. He urged that the petitions submitted by residents be acted upon without delay.
The visit and inspection were streamed live on Dinamalar’s website and YouTube channel, according to the report.
