A new report has detailed the scale of US losses in the recent conflict linked to strikes on Iran, carried out jointly by the United States and Israel amid suspicions over Iran’s nuclear weapons ambitions.

According to the source, Iran responded by closing the Strait of Hormuz and launching attacks on US bases in countries across the Middle East. Multiple claims circulated about the damage sustained during the clashes.

The report lists aircraft losses including 12 F-15E fighters, one F-35A, two A-10 Thunderbolt aircraft, seven aerial refuelling aircraft, and one E-3 Sentry airborne warning and control platform. It also mentions the loss of two MC-130J special operations aircraft and one HH-60W helicopter.

Unmanned systems and helicopters are also cited: three MQ-4C long-range drones, 45 MQ-9 Reaper drones, one AH-64 Apache, four Little Bird light attack helicopters, and one MH-60 Seahawk naval helicopter.

The report further claims the cost of weapons used by the US military in Iran has risen by more than $6 billion, and estimates overall US losses in the war at roughly $3.3 billion.
