Chennai: DMK president M.K. Stalin commented on the bypoll results, offering a brief assessment of how his party and TVK should view the outcome.
Stalin said he had already released a statement on the results and felt that was sufficient. However, when asked to sum it up in a single word, he framed it as a contrast between the two sides.
“For DMK, it is a win in defeat. For TVK, it is a defeat in win,” he said.
The remarks were made during a short interaction with the media in Chennai.
