DMK president M.K. Stalin has commented on the party’s defeat in the Madurantakam and Dharapuram assembly by-elections.
Referring to the outcome, Stalin said the DMK had found “victory in defeat,” while the rival TVK faced “defeat in victory.”
Following Stalin’s remarks, Congress leader Manickam Tagore responded to the statement, as reported in a Dinamalar TV political video.
The exchange has drawn attention as parties interpret the bypoll results and frame their political messaging in the aftermath.
