PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss on Monday hit back at Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, saying the DMK leader is “used to sticking stickers” and cannot easily give up the practice.
In his remarks, Anbumani suggested the DMK’s current situation reflects political strain, adding that the party’s moves indicate it is facing difficulties.
He also cautioned the public about frauds that operate not only online but also through local-level collections such as so-called “Deepavali chits”, urging people to stay alert as it is difficult for the government or police to fully curb such scams.
Referring to savings and banking, he said people may prefer keeping money in banks or post offices, but warned that mobile-based banking should be used carefully to avoid being cheated.
Anbumani further commented on a statement attributed to a Supreme Court judge, saying the judge would have spoken knowingly and that clarity from the Supreme Court would be welcome.
