DMK leader M.K. Stalin has commented on the inauguration of the ‘Periyar Arivulagam’ library and science centre in Coimbatore, saying that pride lies in creating projects rather than merely opening them.
The facility has been built by the Tamil Nadu Public Works Department at Gandhipuram in Coimbatore at a cost of Rs 300 crore. It includes a library and a science centre.
Chief Minister Vijay is scheduled to inaugurate the Periyar Arivulagam today and visit the premises.
Ahead of the event, Stalin shared a video about the project on social media. In his message, he said it does not matter who inaugurates a project, and that the greater achievement is in planning and building it.
He added that this pride, in his view, has long been associated with the DMK.
