A wedding in Rajasthan’s Mewat region has gone viral on social media after two brides set an unusual condition for their post-wedding send-off.

The brides, sisters Aina and Mausina, were married to brothers Rohil and Sahir from a neighbouring village. The sisters reportedly told their families that they would go to their marital homes only by helicopter.

Though the two villages are close enough to be reached on foot, the grooms decided to honour the request. They jointly arranged a helicopter at an estimated cost of Rs 5 lakh.

As villagers gathered to watch, the couples boarded the helicopter and flew to the grooms’ home, where they landed amid public attention and widespread online sharing.
