Anbumani takes swipe at EPS, calls him ‘used to kicking ladders’

PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss on Tuesday launched a fresh attack on AIADMK leader Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS), using a pointed metaphor to criticise his political style.

Referring to EPS, Anbumani said he was “used to kicking away the ladders” that helped him climb, suggesting that people who supported him were later sidelined. He also mocked the situation as resembling a “snake-and-ladder game”.

The remarks were made as part of a wider set of political comments carried in the report, where Anbumani’s tone was openly critical and sarcastic.

The report did not provide further details on the immediate trigger for the exchange or any response from EPS or the AIADMK.
