A 16-year-old school student in Coimbatore has died in an incident that has led to the arrest of a teacher, according to reports.
The boy, identified as Akilan, was the son of Ashok Kumar and Kausalya from the A.D. Colony area in Peelamedu. He was studying in Class 11 at a government-aided school in the Kodia area of Coimbatore.
On the morning of the incident, Akilan reportedly left home saying he was going to school, as usual. Later, he was found dead.
