Yemen’s Houthi rebels have alleged that Saudi Arabian forces carried out a targeted attack on an Indian luxury ship in the Red Sea region. The group said it later rescued all 14 Indian nationals who were on board.

Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree stated that detailed information about the rescued Indians would be released at a later time.

Calling the alleged action “irresponsible,” the Houthis said it poses a serious threat to international shipping in the Red Sea and urged the international community to intervene.

In a separate development, the Houthis said an attack they carried out on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, resulted in two deaths, including one Indian national.
