A special coach has been added to the Madurai–Guruvayur Express as part of a trial run, according to a Dinamalar TV report.
The newly attached coach is a Vistadome coach, designed with glass panels on the roof and sides to provide passengers a wider, scenic view while the train is in motion.
The trial addition is aimed at allowing passengers to enjoy the surroundings during travel between Madurai and Guruvayur.
The report did not specify how long the trial will continue or whether the coach will be made a permanent feature.
