A complaint alleging a Rs 5,000 bribe has led to the transfer of a Special Sub-Inspector in Tirunelveli district to the Armed Reserve.
According to the complaint, a lorry belonging to Balasubramaniyan of Pettai, Tirunelveli, was kept at Seethaparpanallur police station in connection with a sand theft case. In the same case, the lorry driver Nagarajan was arrested.
