PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss addressed questions on whether the proposed ‘Victory Journey’ plan could end up affecting local businesses. He offered his responses amid a wider set of political and public-policy remarks.

Referring to the current electoral landscape, he said the Congress party’s alliance with the Samajwadi Party could improve its chances in several constituencies, but he did not see it winning enough to form a government.

He also cited an incident from Karnataka, where a man reportedly protested a free bus scheme by lying in front of a bus tyre, claiming the programme had disrupted his family life. Anbumani remarked that it would be better if such situations did not occur in Tamil Nadu.

On education and public awareness, he stressed the need for intellectual forums, saying they help not only students but also the general public learn new information. He further noted that law students have a basic duty to stay on the right path, and said such messages should be conveyed in a way that remains firmly in young minds.

In his political comments, he referred to actor Prakash Raj and voter identity issues, and also made a remark about VCK leader Thol. Thirumavalavan, suggesting that political moves are driven by desire for position rather than affection.
