BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Saturday criticised Congress leaders for what he described as repeated, undignified remarks targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his family.

Speaking to reporters in Delhi, Nabin said such attacks have become a political habit for the Congress, and claimed it reflects frustration and a lack of confidence within the party.

He asserted that the public would never accept insults directed at the Prime Minister, adding that Modi enjoys the blessings of crores of people across the country.

Nabin further said that whenever Modi is insulted, people have held the Congress accountable in the past and would continue to do so in the future. He also alleged that the Congress is functioning with a “bankrupt mindset,” which he said is now evident within the party.
