Vijay says Assembly poll is a straight fight with Stalin-led alliance
Chennai meeting TVK leader and actor Vijay, speaking at a candidate introduction meeting in Nungambakkam, Chennai, said the upcoming Assembly election would be a “two-front contest” between his side and the alliance led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. “Not just candidates, but people’s protectors” Vijay said the event should be seen not merely as introducing candidates, but as presenting “protectors for the people.” He acknowledged that critics point to his party’s lack of electoral experience, and said TVK’s candidates come from ordinary families.
