Fadnavis says calls grow in Congress to replace Rahul Gandhi
Nagpur: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday claimed that opposition to Rahul Gandhi is intensifying within the Congress, with voices growing louder to replace him from the party’s leadership due to repeated electoral defeats. Fadnavis said that although Mallikarjun Kharge is the Congress president, key decisions are widely believed to be taken after consultations with former party chief Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, who is also the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha.
